1. Who We Are

Cipher Munch is published by Learning Playground Apps, an independent app developer. You can contact us at CipherMunch@gmail.com.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or other personal information through Cipher Munch.

The app does not require an account, login, sign-up, or profile. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, social SDKs, or cross-app tracking tools.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Cipher Munch may store the following information locally on your device using standard iOS or Android storage:

• Puzzle progress and completion history
• Game settings and preferences
• Hint balance and purchase entitlement records verified through Apple's StoreKit, Google Play Billing, or Amazon In-App Purchasing systems
• Solve statistics, streaks, timing, and accuracy information

This app data is not sent to Learning Playground Apps and is not accessible to us. On iOS, when you are signed in to iCloud, your puzzle progress and statistics are also synced through your own private iCloud account so they carry over between your devices (see Section 7). On Android and Fire tablets, this data may be included in your device's standard backup to your own backup account when backup is turned on. In both cases that data remains private to you and is still not accessible to us. You can remove local data by deleting the app from your device.

4. In-App Purchases

Cipher Munch may offer optional in-app purchases, including puzzle packs, hint bundles, and subscriptions. On iOS, purchases are processed by Apple's App Store through StoreKit. On Android, purchases are processed by Google Play through Google Play Billing. On Amazon Fire tablets, purchases are processed by the Amazon Appstore through Amazon In-App Purchasing. We do not receive or store your payment card information, billing address, Apple ID, Google account, or Amazon account credentials.

Apple's, Google's, and Amazon's respective privacy policies and store terms govern information they may collect during purchase, receipt, refund, and subscription management.

5. No Tracking or Advertising

Cipher Munch does not track you across apps or websites. It does not use the IDFA, advertising cookies, profiling tools, or behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share personal data because we do not collect personal data through the app.

6. This Website

This policy covers the Cipher Munch app. The ciphermunch.com website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people find useful. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your browser or device, and does not build a profile of you or follow you to other sites. The measurements are aggregated, so we cannot identify individual visitors from them.

7. Cloud Sync and Device Backups

On iOS, Cipher Munch uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to automatically back up your puzzle progress and statistics and keep them in sync across devices signed in to the same Apple ID. This is stored in your private iCloud database, governed by your Apple ID and Apple's privacy protections. Learning Playground Apps cannot access this data; it is not shared with us. No separate account, sign-up, or login is required; it uses the iCloud account already on your device.

If you are not signed in to iCloud, Cipher Munch stores this data only on your device. You can stop iCloud syncing at any time by disabling iCloud for Cipher Munch in your device's Settings, or by signing out of iCloud. Apple's standard device-backup behavior (iCloud Backup, Finder, or iTunes) may also include local app data, controlled by Apple and your device settings.

On Android, Cipher Munch allows Android's standard backup service to include your puzzle progress and statistics in your device backup, which goes to your own backup account (your Google account on most Android devices) and is restored when you reinstall on a device signed in to the same account. On Amazon Fire tablets, any app-data backup is handled by Fire OS under your device and Amazon account settings. Learning Playground Apps cannot access this data in either case; it is governed by your account and your device's backup settings, and you can turn backup off at any time in your device's settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Cipher Munch does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or under the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction. Since the app does not collect personal information through our systems, there is no child personal data for us to access, disclose, or delete.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Because Learning Playground Apps does not collect personal information through Cipher Munch, we generally do not have user data to access, correct, export, or delete. If you contact us by email, we will use your email address only to respond to your request.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide notice through an app update note or this website.
